Post Christmas Activities

Was out most of the day going around visiting people… Actually, it all started with just ‘euwen wants to meet me for lunch’ since rosemary, christy, the 2 girls went to taiping zoo and mummy and grace went to kl for some spa thingy.. and james is back… only ppl left in ipoh is only me, yiche and papa…
Anyway, went out for lunch with euwen.. when i got a call from yvonne that her friends had arrived and had nothing to do till 2pm (with the arrival of more of her friends).. so, we kinda waited for her in my house when euwen came…
Went to JJ Corner (the shop nxt to it actually) for lunch with euwen and ian.. yea, met ian and his family there.. and ian joined us after that.. by that time, von had decided to go to bus station to pick her friends up and had lunch by themselves.. And there we are, 3 of us again… (like yesterday night, in pasar malam for ian’s bday celebration.. but there was the 4 cousins at tht time) Then that euwen fat hau want to visit ppl before he leaves ipoh.. Then ian kinda followed us.. Wanted to go to belinda’s house.. but she wasn’t at home.. Then, since we’re in the vicinity, we went to carol’s house.. The houses there are damn HUGE~! and she has this nice little cockatail bird in a cage outside.. hehe…
She decided to join us for a visit to chee lim’s house… while ian had to go back for some church events… And before long, we were sitting in chee lim’s living room, talking all the way… After like God knows how long… we left our separate paths.. chee lim went to meet up with choon may who went to infinity (snooker area) where von and her friends are there playing snooker… I followed euwen, in which he had to fetch carol back.. Then, we met up with von they all in imax.. playing dota~! haha.. and there we were, her friends; eng kiat, choi and kenneth and us.. playing dota… and i havent been playing since before i came to singapore and my skills deteriorated terribly.. lol…
Went home for dinner – bak kut teh with family before i left the house agian to meet up with von they all again… This time in parade and a much more bigger group… Cause there were shake and and their melbourne friends.. They decided to go to one of shake’s friends house, chong chyn, in fair park, near the basketball court.. We played cards and mahjong there till 12 plus and went for supper in east… Ooh.. then had to fetch shake back to her new house! haha.. first time going there and it’s quite deep deep inside… It’s much bigger than her former house though… And she took me there thru like dunno what mazes of bercham roads.. but when i left, i followed one ‘unmarked’ road and right away, reached outside the main road… haha.. how ironic..

Merry Christmas 2005~

It’s the time of the year for christmas~! Went out for a fellowship session with my church friends after midnight mass… There was mag, ben, kelvin, von, adrienna and i.. The group’s getting smaller through the years.. But heck, hope it still remains as a ‘tradition’ for the years to come.. Came home rather late.. 3 plus if i’m not mistaken

Then.. morning came~! And it was like last time.. preparation for christmas party~! (well, so i call it one).. There were a few new faces this year for christmas, namely; christy and mr steven goh.. Goh made splendid dishes, with different varieties of chicken and beef dishes… and some weird nyonya appetizer.. Then Christy made some curry chicken (which was too spicy for my own good), rosemary made spaghetti and there were lots of stuffs actually.. haha.. some new dishes from grace also; garlic bread and salad..
And me? what did i do.. well, i was being appointed as the ‘basin executive’ this time.. Washing dishes!.. :-/

People started coming at 1 plus.. and for my friends, they only started to arrive at 3 plus.. There was omega, von, licia and jason.. Shake couldn’t make it as she had some stuffs to do at home (shifting house).. Ate a bit, chat a lil’.. Sat at the round table till later, yee hui arrived, then jit vern and brandon.. Later, accompanied by jill and pinkie… We played happy family (while waiting for their arrival)..how sad rite? haha.. then later, when there’s more ppl, brandon introduced this game called ’snap’.. it’s a different version of snap and i wouldn’t want to explain how the game is like over here…

Stayed and chatted till like 5 plus.. 6… Then, jill, chin ping and i decided to pay chee lim a visit.. (since she just arrived home from UK).. stayed there for like around 10-15 min and we left.. haha.. talk about a quick visit… Went home, ate the leftovers for dinner.. and the time that all of us have been waiting for…”OPENING PRESENTS”~!!

I still remmeber the time when we were still kids.. we would fight and argue who would be the one whose supposed to give out presents every year.. and i was always looking forward to my turn.. until.. well…. i grew older and it never really reached my turn… Not so anxious bout it anymore. This year’s christmas was quite brief.. i think, not even 2 hours.. mainly cause of the absence of my eldest sister.. Presents are fewer..(but of higher quality).. but all in all, it’s still FUN~!! haha.. had some good laughs.. before long, there goes christmas~! For one moment, christmas is just a day away.. and the nxt moment, it’s 364 more days to go….

Unpredictable day..

Well, just as i thought things are starting to quiet down around here.. And euwen said he wanted to see me before he leaves.. So, he kind of just wanted to come over to visit me… But i told him i’ll join him for lunch… And there we go, out for lunch.. when i remembered that Jill wanted ppl to teman her shop.. so, called her and went for lunch together… While fetching jill, von suddenly msged me, asking me what’s the plan for today..and i told her i was out with euwen.. and surprisingly, she was at some clinic in ipoh gdn south.. haha.. and tada! recruited another person to go out with.. lol.. After having lunch, dind’t know where to go.. Called chin ping as euwen wanted to take wanyoe’s jacket from her so that he can pass it to sinnyi.. But anyway, she was out having lunch somewhere in the east.. So, we went to had lunch there… After lunch, chin ping kind of joined us as well, and we went to jusco to do some shopping… haha… There it goes, from the idea ‘euwen wanted to visit me’ into 5 ppl in the car going to jusco…
But von didn’t join us for long.. Bumped into kianmei in jusco and we did some light shopping.. On the way back, jill and pinkie suddenly decided to drop by my house… And thus, euwent dropped us in pinkie’s house and she drove us all back to my house.. haha.. It wasn’t really that fun there though.. with the 2 kids terrorizing us… lol.. got both jill and pinkie irritated.. (not to mention myself) The 2 kids just doesn’t know when to stop.. But we ended up, having some light talks before all of them headed back and finally,able to take my nap.. hehe… Then, woke up.. had dinner and prepared ourselves for midnight mass…

RoAd TriP!!

woot~! Leon took me on a Road Trip to the East the whole morning-evening, where his house is.. He came and pick me up at 11am, and took me for double breakfast~! haha.. one is some kaya toast and half boiled egg, and the other, the famous katong laksa.. It was quite filling for me, as my stomache was quite occupied from yesterdays’ food.. haha..
So, after the release of what is leftover from yesterday, my stomach is all ready for lunch… lol.. But anyway, it was not time for lunch yet..took me to see big big houses with nice nice cars. The houses are like.. mansions… They have very long driveways, some even got a mini rainforest inside them… Got lost somewhere in the maze of beautiful houses and eventually took me back to his house and lepakked around there for a while.. Then, he took me to some very nice condo nearby with a very recreational swimming pool.. haha.. too bad i dind’t bring my swimming trunks.. otherwise, would have just went to dip into the water for a while..
Had prawn noodles for lunch before going to Kim’s house to pick up some stuff to be donated to the salvation army.. After all that, they went to queensway mall to do some shopping while i had to get back from the MRT station over there cause i had carolling performance.
Speaking of the performace, we sang at some SRC event at Yunnan Corner. It was my first time stepping foot into the building. We only sang for like 15 minutes and then we were invited to their buffet dinner!! haha.. It was delicious… they had spaghetti, pizza, lots of nice tid bits! Oh, and there was an ang mo ’santa claus’ and alot of children running around.. The ang mo kids were so cute.. Haha.. it was fun watching the kids play, surrounding santa claus; taking pictures, etc.
Hmm… there goes my long day.. haha.. walked all the way back to hall and spent another 1 hour or so talking in the music room… FInally, going back tmr!! can’t wait…. haha

A Visit to NUS

Guess there’s still this momentum of going out. Felt there’s nothing better to do in uni, and decided to go NUS to visit my old friends; ian and jit vern.. At first, i was quite reluctant to wake up.. only woke up at 1045 and left NTU at 1100.. haha.. didn’t take long to reach NUS though… by 1150 like that, i’m already in ian’s room.. And as usual, we kind of entertained ourselves… ian played the guitar, then we sing christmas songs.. haha.. then go watch misc. videos… Then out of a sudden, sek hee called me..! Said he was in ISETAN @ Orchard there.. ask us to go find him.. But that Ian complained he spent alot of money (and so did I actually), then we made him come to NUS.. lol

We waited for him quite long though.. Finally, after almost 2 hours, he called us… See see, he’s already in NUS, but his phone got no coverage, so, he has to find a public phone (in which he walked all the way to central library) whereas Ian’s hall is at the place where the bus dropped him. Haha… ANyway, we had lunch in biz fac canteen, with the company of Ian’s “good friend”, Aimee, an exchange student from Vietnam, quite pretty..
Did some catching up and after lunch, sent sek hee back to the bus stop.. Went back to Ian’s room where i slept for 90 min while he played dota.. haha.. Lepakked in his room till like 5pm then i started to wonder where jit-vern is. He was out with Cheryl since morning. Later at almost 6, he came over with cheryl, and we took a walk in Engin Fac. At 7, went to Clementi for dinner where we bumped into 2 of jit-vern’s exchange student friends, Paula and Rachel. At that time, i was so late for choir practise. But managed to reached back in NTU at 830pm, and i’m still early for practise. Hahaha…
Sis came back from Thailand and did some catching up with her as well after practise. And now, here I am, summarizing today’s event. haha.. There goes another day…
