An event to celebrate for EEE graduate students. Organized by the School of EEE (Electrical and Electronic Engineering), the event is held at Marina Mandarin for $40 for early birds. It’s a good event for the current graduate batch to mingle around and socialize, but most of all for photo taking purposes.
The evening was alright. Packed with activities, games and lucky draws (I didn’t win anything from there). The emcees were a bit SS (syok sendiri) but I guess most emcees have to be that way. The audience wasn’t very supportive with them actually. haha. I went there with ying sin and weng fei cause I bumped into them in the train at Dhoby Gaut. The place was very nice. It started with cocktail reception and networking. Shouldn’t be there without friends. Otherwise, you’ll just be ‘networking’ with yourself cause most of the people there are within their own groups.
We took a few pictures on our own. Here’s me with a very ‘old’ friend. Classmates since standard 2.

Basically, we just took a lot of pictures outside.

But there were a few friends that I haven’t seen for quite some time. Some IA mates, lab mates, tutorial mates.
Here’s me with EEE’s valedictorian, Jianglan. She was my HRM group mate. Oh, the things that we went through for that course. It was very good learning though.
And of course, my EEE ‘gang’. The people that I normally hang out with during classes, in between classes, after classes. haha.
For most of the 4 years in NTU, we studied, eat and played together.

For the event itself, we were served with chinese-style dining. Like those wedding dinners. But the food was just so-so actually. Most of the people weren’t concentrating on their foods. They were busy looking at their lucky draw numbers, watching the games that the guests take part in. Oh, I won myself a prize too! For dressing up a friend with scraps (most creative dress-up). We dressed a guy up to be the Statue of EEE (resembling Statue of Liberty). Long story short he had a tiara, a torch and boobs made of balloons. Obviously, he won.
There were lots of pretty girls in the room too! I didn’t know there were so many in school of EEE. Either I overlooked the external ‘beauty’ in my fellow batch mates or that make up really do wonders. Took a last group picture together with most of the Malaysians in the room (if not all)

After the event, we went to esplanade for a quick photo shoot among ourselves.
